East of Eden read-along: p240 - 320
Hey, everybody! I'm still chugging along. How's everybody else doing?

I'm way behind on my reading, but still definitely plan to finish! I really enjoy what I've read so far, but don't seem to have a lot of time to read right now. :/
ARRGGH I just wrote a big long comment and blogger ate it.
In dot points then (no spoilers, I think)
* I finished!
* I got tired of being beaten over the head with religious allegory
* I assume Cathy represents Eve and the fall of man. If so, her depiction annoyed the hell out of me, but that may be because the depiction of Eve annoys the hell out of me.
* Samuel was my favourite character, although I did also like Lee. (The Chinese servant?)
* I was disappointed that Adam's brother doesn't come back into it.
