Lesley's List

My list is a combination of books I just want to read and books I feel I should have read by now. Some are contemporary, and some are classics that I've somehow neglected despite two degrees in literature. Some are by authors whose other works I've already read and enjoyed. (I've never been very good at reading the complete works by any one author.) You may notice a very slight Canadian slant, as I'm a Canadian gal and a lover of contemporary CanLit, but I read a lot of CanLit already, so this is more about branching out from that.

This is a great list!

I really should have put A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters on my list too, I was supposed to read it for uni years ago and I didn't get past the first chapter. Maybe I will make it my 101st book (should there be time)

Even more awesome reading! I really admire some of these choices, as I just don't think I'd have the stamina to read them.
